On Saturday I did a trail walk to the allotments.

There are indeed about 20 minutes at a gentle pace, but a little too far to carry lots of gardening equipment.

The area is absolutely huge, and on what can only be described as a hill!

I am nervous that I may be up the hill, as that looks like a fair old trek!

I saw quite a few people working..... and they all looked retired!!!!

It looks lovely and I am very excited that I may get a plot!!!!

Aside from that excitement, as if that were not enough, I had a lovely weekend re-potting my almost 5ft tall tomato plants, wafting about and having a jolly good spring clean.

It is just so lovely to have all the doors and windows open all day. It makes the flat and me feeling so much fresher!

I have got Wednesday off walk and already got a list as long as my arm to complete….. but the weather looks good so who cares?!!!!
