Well, there was a cock up with the tickets and I am now off to see Paul Weller at the Hammersmith Apollo on Thursday night now!!! Better for me as it means that I only have to struggle through Friday and then have 3 days off!!!
My next bit of news may make a few of you laugh, but I have my name on the waiting list for a local council run allotment!!!!!
The down side is that I would have to drive to get there, but the thought of having my own 30ft by 30ft piece of garden is almost too much to stand!!!
I have no idea how long the waiting list is, but the man said it was a short list!!! I doubt that I will get it in time to do it this year, but it is still something to look forward too!
I can see me know with all the local old folk, discussing my sprouts and getting handy anti-slug advice!!!!
I aim to grow my own veg next year so I hope that the list is really short so I can start work maybe this winter to get the ground ready!!!
How easily pleased I am!!!!
I am trying to make an effort to get out and about more and meet more people in the area.
I feel like my hibernation is passing and I feel more confident about going out and meeting new people etc.
I am also going to a local VW meeting in a few weeks time with my best mate for morale support. I hope to meet a few people there so I can have mates to go to local shows and shows further a field with.
I am feeling good people. Really good.

Having an allotment is brilliant! Not only can you grow vegetables and flowers, but you get to meet nice people too.
Great stuff, and I hope the waiting time is short.
Cheers, Tom.
