So, my little part time cat Alfie was about again last night. Him and Scooter were playing in the kitchen and generally causing chaos in my otherwise calm cat household!!!
I took control of the situation and carried him back down to his mum!!! She was horrified that he has been so forward and made himself so at home at mine! She said that Scooter has poked his nose into her house a few times but has not ventured actually inside!
Alfie is only 10 months old, and has been snipped. He is overwhelmingly trusting and affectionate, and a real bundle of fluff. He is all fluff, but looking at his paws and tail, I think he is going to be a monster of a cat!
That is a great relief to me as at least I know that he is not taking the mickey and flouncing round another lady!!! I would not put up with that sort of behaviour! Scooter and Alfie seem to spend all day together, sunbathing in gardens and generally play fighting and investigating all that moves in life!
Mother of Alfie gave me a handy hint as he hates it when you clap your hands, so when he reappeared last night, I clapped my hands loudly and he was back out the cat flap as quick as you like, so hopefully, he will get the message that he is welcome in the garden but not in the flat.
Luckily for me, before I took Alfie home I managed to get a photo of him in my kitchen!!! Look at Vinnie, big fella, in the background giving him the evils!!!!
I also got a lone shot of Alfie, which just shows what a handsome cat he is. In some ways I am gutted thawt he is someone elses baby, but to be honest, I am more than happy with my boys and the way we all live.
After the excitement of the evening, Scooter simply had to lie down and recover with a sleep.

Alfie is gorgeous - he looks just like a cat I had as a child. Glad to hear that you have found a way to keep him out, hopefully he will restrict his visits to your garden.
