It Is All Happening At The Moment.....

by KACKERS @ Tuesday, 27. Mar, 2007 - 08:55:23

Well, firstly I must apologise for my lack of posting again, it has been a very busy time here in Kackers land.

I am pleased to report that the Ultimate Cat Activity unit arrived and is a roaring success and both the cats adore the idea of laying on it in the sun, all day, watching the world go by through the blinds!

It was worth every penny though the big Fella does seem to have taken over all control of it!!! I have got a few photos which I will try to post abit later this week or after the weekend.

Other sad but kind of exciting news is that my dream car is leaving me to be swapped for a cheaper and far more sensible car for my daily 12 mile drive! I say that, but my Fatima is in for her MOT today, and I think she will fly through, and then it will be all systems go.

I will be selling my lovely 3 litre VW VR6 and buying a 1400 1997 VW Polo.

I am gutted but my Fatima is costing me so much money in petrol, tax and insurance and it is hard to justify for the average 80 miles driving that I do most weeks!

My monthly petrol costs will half, my insurance and road tax is also halved, so it makes perfect economic sense to sell and swap, but I am gutted. Still, as I have learnt this year, life certainly moves on!

As far as me, well I am very happy. Very skint, but that will sort itself out once the initial flush of renting and catching up on bills etc has passed. I am so happy in myself and the future does not scare me, but excites me! I am ever optimistic about what this year could hold, and really do feel the best that I have in a long time.

I won’t lie, sometimes I get abit lonely and sometimes I would like someone to chatter to of an evening or potter about with at the weekends, but that urge passes more as each week trickles by.

I have learnt such a lot about myself and my life that it can only ever be positive.

The future is bright, the future is Kackers shaped!!!!! :D

Look Into My Eyes.........

by KACKERS @ Tuesday, 06. Mar, 2007 - 15:40:31

Well, I am still beside myself with longing for the ultimate cat activity construction to arrive, and I am ever the optimist that it will arrive this week. It will be quite a mission to get that erected and sorted!

I have, however, a CD to hypnotise me into giving up smoking. I will allow myself to be transformed from Wednesday till Saturday and hope to be ciggie free and happy by next week!

I have bought a pair of trainers, but they have yet to arrive, so I hope to hear news about them soon!

Aside from that, it is business as usual. Working, amusing two lunatic cats and keeping my lovely flat tidy. I went down to my mums at the weekend and now have another crate containing the very last of my belongings.

Now I have around me all that I won.

Scary, as that suggests that I am here to stay.

Oh, how could I have forgotten that this week I am getting my mechanic to go and start my van up, service it and return him purring to me ready for a lovely long weekend away in the New Forest next month.

I will then have the unbridled excitement of emptying all the shit out of the van, cleaning it all, and preparing it for weekends away in the summer. It will be my escape, but I am a little worried about the boys, but I do have a cunning plan!

The Ultimate Cat Present!!!

by KACKERS @ Friday, 02. Mar, 2007 - 10:20:55

My boys are going to be well happy!

I got this activity climbing contraption from Ebay for such a good price.

I am going to pop in my front bay window as the sun is there almost all day.

I suspect that my big fella Vinnie will take control of the upper station, with Scooter lurking round below.

I have bought it as they have almost killed their scratching posts, and have a mad habit of trying to always be high up in the flat. The love to get up on shelves and the kitchen worktops and survey all below them!

I am hoping, that by providing this 5ft beast, it will make them both happier and give me somewhere to hide food etc.

They just seem to spend a lot of time indoors, and hopefully they will enjoy looking out of the window on this!

I suspect that both of them will go out loads more once the weather starts to get warmer, but I am not 100% convinced!

I will take some photo’s once it has arrived, hopefully with the boys providing some action shots, but don’t hold your breath!!!!!
