Well, it has all been happening here of late!

Firstly I had a great time away, it was great.

What was not as great was getting a petrol leak in the van about a mile on my journey back home.

It was not all bad though as if I had of been travelling for longer before I stopped for petrol, the leak would have caused my van to probably catch fire and then I would have lost my Duncan and all our belongings.

So, I was smiling although the AA assistance left alot to be desired! That is a whole blog to itself!! After 21 years and many recovery journeys, this has been the only bad one, so I will not grumble too much.

Lets just say that it involved me, an empty carpark and no-one to talk too for several hours!

Work is good, life with my special man is good and I am hoping to have some good job news soon, the boys alias my cats, are settling down and starting to get plotted up and organised in the ranks!!

I will post again for sure tomorrow, but until then, keep smiling and be happy to be here!

Good grief.... where is this month going?!!

So much has been going on.

The new car is just a dream but does like to guzzle the old juice. I could loose my licence in her but I am being very sensible and driving like my mother!!! D

The new cat, Vinnie, is sort of settling down and Scooter is sort of accepting it, though I am still having a few teething problems.

My special man is still at home and I love coming home to see him there every night. He is now in full on work search mode so I need to make the most of anytime that he has left as my house husband!!!

We are going away for a Volkswagen show on Wednesday and I won't be back at work again until Tuesday.

It will be so good to take some time out and chill and step away from it all.

So, once again, my lonely reader will have to survive a few more days without any idea of what is happening in my life.

Will you, my faithful reader, be able to cope?

I do hope so!!!

Well, it has all been all go in my world.

Things are busy at work.

My special still looks for work.

The cats are keeping me happy, worried and busy.

I have a new car.

I love my new car.

My new car is fast and could be a licence loser if I am not carefull!!!

Will try to update again tomorrow when hopefully, I will have time to meet myself in the middle!

Nice to have some good weather though, that always makes things seem better.

Well, it seems that things have all changed again.....

I, without any work from me, have managed to find myself a new car and get rid of the old car is one swoop!!!

I am getting an assistant to work with me at work. Not sure who or how and if it will be full or part time, but it will happen.

The sun is shining.

I love my special man more than words can explain.

Life is picking up and I am looking forward to collecting my car on Saturday and chilling for the weekend.

Tonight we are off to our racing friends for dinner.

I can't wait!

It is amazing how quickly things can change.

Vinnie has started to settle and now is coming in of an evening and stopping in overnight.

Scooter is not happy as Vinnie is now the King of the bedroom and Scooter is the King of the lounge and kitchen and both cat flaps.

Scooter won’t talk to me much, Vinnie can’t get enough of me!!

They have not come to blows yet so I am hoping that they will settle and become mates.

I am feeling a bit preoccupied today.

My special man is now without a job and it comes at a time when we were just starting to get things sorted.

I cannot allow myself to think about it too much or worry as it will just make me sick.

I just really hope it all changes again soon and that he finds something quickly before things slip away.

I must admit that I wish we could both stop working and do something form home together that would just keep us ticking over.

I don’t need to be a millionaire, but being able to buy a treat every so often would not be a bad thing.

Oh, on a positive note…. It is supposed to hit 32 degrees this weekend in the sun!!!

Well, Big Vinnie, alias Missing In Action, returned home last night much to the surprise of my special man and Scooter!

I went out at 10pm to call for the final time and as I opened the door, the big fella was there and waiting.

He came in and went beside himself with excitement and enjoyed 3 bowls of food (first time I have seen him eat anything since he arrived on Monday) and a bowl of water.

He then took himself off to our room and promptly fell asleep.

At five this morning, he was back up and off out again.

I can't tell you how shocked and delighted I was and how much I am still smiling.

So I am a happy girl today.

I will try to get some photo's at the weekend so that my one reader can meet the new arrival!

I hope that the one person visiting here is not me on my stats else that would be sad....... LOL
